On-call staff ready to assist the family in their time of need
24 Hour Crisis Intervention
Even after foster parents undergo extensive pre-service training, we understand that many foster parents need additional support with some of the challenging behaviors our children arrive with. Therefore, we have a 24/7 hotline that is provided to all of our foster parents, which includes a TBRI crisis staff member who is prepared to arrive at the house within 30 minutes of a crisis call. The trained crisis support member will support the foster parents and child as long as is needed. All of our therapeutic services are based on the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) modality, which is evidenced to work well in supporting children and families affected by trauma.
This immediate support service separates The Sanctuary from many other agencies, and we believe it’s integral for the permanency of our placements .
POST ADOPTION SUPPORT
We now offer Crisis Intervention (only in conjunction with our Therapy and Counseling Services) to post-adoptive families from the community!
