
Post Adoption Services
Our mission to provide permanent sanctuary and healing homes for children and families from hard places - many times - progresses into adoption. The Sanctuary wants to walk with you and your child as you take this final step for permanency. We are excited to offer Post-Adoption Services to help your family as you transition into adoption and walk with your child through healing, including available resources such as in-home support, a support group, and Hope Camp. Keep reading to learn about all the services offered.
PROGRAM SERVICE OPTIONS
Our Post Adoption Services offers three (3) Tiers of Care in order to meet the needs of your family. Each tier offers the following services with additional services added at each level.
+ TBRI Training
+ Weekly therapy services for one adopted child
+ Weekly Adoptive Parent Support Group
+ Applications will go through Special Circumstances Committee
All Tier 1 Services Plus:
+ Monthly check-ins with Adoption Specialist
+ Weekly In-Home Clinician Support
All Tier 2 Services Plus:
+ Weekly In-Home Clinician Support
+ Four (4) Support calls included per month
*Pricing varies dependent upon tier and number of children enrolled. Additional services are available upon request and availability.

Support Group
Support Group Details
We have support group options for foster and adoptive families, whether you are with The Sanctuary, with another agency, or an adoptive family. Please feel free to reach out to Kristin Gonzalez if you have any questions!
We have seen that our support group has served its purpose to connect its members to each other! We will be relaunching a new Connection Group at new location and dates to be announced soon! Be on the lookout!!
Our Fort Bend Support Group is hosted at Grand Parkway Baptist Church in conjunction with their Midweek Classes. It is on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00PM and child care for children of all ages including youth group for kids in 6th grade and above. Registration is required for children ages 2 and under.

Hope Family Camp
JOIN US FOR HOPE CAMP
The Sanctuary of Hope Family Camp is a 4-week training that will teach the methodology of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and give your family tools to aid in connection and healing. Hope Camp specifically serves adoptive families along with those that are in adoption prep. Camp is offered two times a year during the spring and fall. They will take placed on Saturday mornings for four weeks from 9:00-12:30pm. Registration is required and it is not currently open.

CAMP DETAILS
We are in the process of finalizing our dates and location for Fall 2025 camp that will take place near our Fort Bend Branch in Sugar Land. Please feel free to complete the interest form and our Camp Coodinator will reach out to you!

Volunteer as Hope Camp Buddy
Hope Family Camp volunteers take on the role of Hope Camp Buddy where they are paired up with a child between the ages of 4 to 12 years old, working beside them while teaching valuable skills for connection on their pathway to healing.
Hope Camp Buddy Requirements: Commit to each Saturday for five (5) weeks to complete training the first week then the next four (4) weeks to work with your buddy and teach the valuable skills they need for connection on their pathway to healing.
