CLASS DESCRIPTION
Each person who takes this course designed by ASHI will be certified to perform CPR and First Aid skills in emergency situations for adults, children, and infants. This course is certified for foster parents, respite care providers, and overnight care providers/babysitters.
This course is divided into TWO parts. In order to receive your CPR/First Aid Certificate, you MUST complete PART 1 & PART 2.
PART 1: TEACHING will be completed virtually on Thursday, October 17th from 6:00 - 9:00pm. The payment of $15 is due at the time of registration.
PART 2: SKILLS & TESTING will be IN-PERSON portion of the course held at the Fort Bend Branch on Saturday, October 19th. You will be asked to choose your time preference during registration. Please note, we can host 12 people for each session. There are two time options at registration where you will complete the hands-on skills training and complete your written exam:
> Session 1: 9:00 - 10:00am
> Session 2: 10:00 - 11:00am
NOTE: PART 2 of this course will take place IN-PERSON at the FORT BEND BRANCH office. We ask that you arrange childcare prior to the training as it will not be provided at this time.
