CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
This class gives foster parents an overview of psychotropic medications and side effects, how to administer the medication, and how to ensure they are giving informed consent. The second half of the class discusses The Sanctuary Handbook which teaches foster parents the specific processes and procedures that are unique to The Sanctuary.
This class is required for all new foster families but you must attend Foster Parent Orientation prior to participating in this class unless you have received prior authorization from the Home Development Department.
