Training: EBI 2 (Empowering Principles) & CANN (Child Abuse and Neglect, Normalcy)

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
EBI (Emergency Behavior Intervention) 2 helps foster parents assess a foster child’s emotional, cognitive, and social aptitude. Once the foster parents have a clear understanding of where to begin they can utilize TBRI empowering principals to help the child heal and progress to their full potential. The foster parents learn how to empower the child to become self-aware so they can change the trajectory of their life.

CANN (Child Abuse and Neglect, Normalcy) discusses how to recognize the warning signs of abuse and neglect and what to do if a foster parent suspects abuse is occurring. Normalcy educates foster parents on the importance of foster children being able to experience normal childhood activities while in care.
