CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Class #2 helps foster parents assess a foster child’s emotional, cognitive, and social aptitude. Once the foster parents have a clear understanding of where to begin, they can utilize proactive strategies to help the child heal and progress to their full potential. The foster parents learn how to encourage the child to become self-aware so they can change the trajectory of their life.

This class is required for all new foster families ONLY, but you must attend Foster Parent Orientation prior to participating in this class unless you have received prior authorization from the Home Development Department.
